Church School
All children, from preschool through high school, are welcome to participate in our Church School program. The classes meet each Sunday during the school year following Holy Communion. Please contact Dna. Ina O’Dell for more information or to register your children. If your child is not currently enrolled, you may download the Church School Registration form here.
Church School classes begin after Communion as follows:
Level I (ages 4-7) meets with Dna. Ina O’Dell & Sharon Cochenet
Level II (ages 8-10) meets with Sophia Winter & Cathi Aigaki
Level III (ages 11-14) meets with John Milosovich & Brian Stefanović
Level IV (ages 15-18) meets with Adam & Emily Lum
Parents pick up their children when the classes are dismissed at 12:15 pm. A Sunday Reading bookmark is available in the narthex for you to follow and read the scriptures as a family each week.
Mom’s Night Out for Little Angels Playgroup (LAP)
For mom’s with newborns & toddlers, there are play dates scheduled with other kids while moms enjoy a “Mom’s Night Out”. Depending on those who wish to participate, children will have a babysitter every other month on a week-day evening. If interested in joining, contact Emily Lum.
All Youth Days
All youth of St. Spyridon Church ages 5-18 are invited for food, Spiritual fellowship and fun every second Sunday of the month! We will be eating fabulous George’s Pizza starting at 12:30 pm. At 1 o’clock we divide into two groups for a time deemed “spiritual formation”. Each lesson is summarized and passed out to parents at the end of the All Youth Day. After a 35 minute lesson all youths and chaperons will head to the Chilson Recreation Center for an hour or so of gym madness and crazy fun games!
The All Youth Sundays are the following: October 9, November 13, January 15, February 12, March 11, and April 8. All of our events are also located on the church calendar. To register your child/ren, please fill out this All Youth Day Registration & Release Form and email it to Emily Lum
