Spiritual Growth
There are many opportunities to increase your knowledge of the Faith and to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ. Check out some of these opportunities below:
Bible Study
We host Bible Study on Tuesday mornings, 9:30 to 10:30, in our Fellowship Hall. All are welcome to attend this one-hour study that focuses on discovering the truths of our faith found within Holy Scripture. See our church calendar or check with Fr. Evan to be sure which weeks Bible Study will meet each month.
Adult Catechism & Wednesday Night Fellowship
We gather as a community on Wednesday nights for six weeks in the fall (Oct.-Nov.) and spring (during Lent) for prayer, community meal, and religious instruction. Beginning at 5 pm we host a short chapel service followed by a common meal in our fellowship hall. After this, classes are offered for adults and supervised activities for children including religious instruction.
Church School
All children, from preschool through high school, are welcome to participate in our Church School program. The classes meet each Sunday during the school year following Holy Communion. Please see our Youth Happenings page for more information and to see what else is going on with our youth program! You may also contact Dna. Ina O’Dell for more information or to register your children.

Monastery Trips
There are four opportunities a year to visit monasteries with groups from St. Spyridon. These trips are highly recommended for the purpose of aiding parishioners and clergy in spiritual development.
Trips to Saint Paisius Monastery and Holy Protection Monastery are organized bi-annually. Saint Paisius Monastery, located near Tuscon, Arizona, is a coenobitic community where Liturgy is served daily. Multi-day trips are scheduled prior to Great Lent and again in the fall. For shorter day pilgrimages, trips to Holy Protection Monastery near Lake George, Colorado are also organized. Contact Father Evan or Deacon Mark for more details.
